Sylt giants

The group of sculptures has been standing for twenty years "Travelling Giants in the Wind" by Martin Wolke in front of the Westerland train station on Sylt. The huge family, consisting of mother, father and two children, welcomes the arriving travelers - five meters high, bright green and an integral part of the cityscape. To mark this milestone anniversary, we are launching an exclusive artist's edition of the figures in miniature format for your home!
The group of figures "Travelling Giants in the Wind" is not only a luminous monument to the hospitality of the people of Sylt. It also pays homage to the consistency of many island visitors who, year after year, brace themselves to the wind and enjoy the beauty of the island. For many people, greeting the “Travelling Giants in the Wind” group is a tradition when visiting Sylt. Now you have the opportunity to bring the sculptures home. On the one hand as a nice memory and souvenir for yourself. Furthermore, of course, as an exclusive gift for a dear Sylt fan. We'll start with the giantess, available in two sizes: 10 cm and in a special limited edition in 18 cm format.
The 18 cm version is numbered consecutively and is limited to 100 copies. In addition, it has about 6 times the volume of the small figure. In addition, it is exclusively produced by the artist and signed by hand.
Material 18 cm: resin cast lacquered. Material 10 cm: Painted cast pewter. The special edition "Travelling Giants in the Wind" is only available from us. We are sure that the Sylter Riesen will bring Sylt fans just as much joy as our customer Steffi, who wrote the following: "It is a memory for our life together. These giants mean so much to us.
