Warranty Policy
In addition to the rights to which you are legally entitled, I grant you a 15-year guarantee for our handmade pewter belt clasps in accordance with the following provisions.
1. Subject of the guarantee
The guarantee applies to the products made by me and as a single item or in connection with other products via the Etsy shop below https://www.etsy.com/de/shop/Neptunsgeschmeide or via the webshop at www.neptunsgeschmeide.de offered pewter belt buckles.
2. Warranty Period
The guarantee is valid for a period of 15 years from the date of purchase.
3. Geographical scope of the guarantee
The guarantee covers the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany.
4. Warranty Services
4.1 If material or manufacturing defects occur in the products you have purchased during the warranty period, I will grant you one of the following services of my choice within the scope of the warranty:
4.1.1 Replacement Delivery
The replacement delivery is a belt buckle made by me of the same type, quality and features (replacement buckle).
4.1.2 Repair
I will repair the delivered belt buckle at my own expense.
4.2 The original guarantee period continues to apply to repaired or replaced belt buckles, ie no new or extended guarantee period begins for them.
5. Disclaimer of Warranty
Warranty claims are excluded in the event of damage to the goods caused by:
• Abusive, improper treatment or manipulation,
• environmental influences (humidity, heat, dust, etc.),
• Non-observance of any care instructions,
• Use of force (e.g. hit, push, fall),
• unauthorized repair attempts,
• normal wear and tear,
• Damage or removal of serial number or embossing of belt buckle.
6. Enforcing the Guarantee
6.1 Recognized material or manufacturing defects must be reported in text form immediately, at the latest within two weeks of discovery:

6.2 If you fail to meet the aforementioned deadline, you lose your rights under this guarantee. This does not apply if you are not responsible for missing the deadline.
6.3 To request warranty service, you must enclose a copy of the original invoice for the goods.
6.4 Claiming the guarantee requires that you enable me to check the guarantee case by sending in the goods. You must use suitable transport packaging for shipping the goods in order to avoid damage during transport.
6.5 If the guarantee claim is justified, the guarantee will be processed free of charge for you. Any shipping costs you may have paid will be reimbursed by me.
7. Legal Rights
Your statutory rights in the event of defects, which you can claim free of charge, are not restricted by this warranty.
